Eli Yehezkel, the youngest daughter of Hezi Yehezkel — an Iraqi father of four who runs a garage called “Hezi and Sons” — accidentally steps on the glass at her sister Riki’s wedding ceremony, ruining the event. Later, Eli and her sisters uncover a family curse: until Eli, the youngest, gets married, none of her sisters will be able to wed.

The four Yehezkel sisters, their niece Royal, and the two aunts who live with Hezi in the family home, embark on a quest to lift the curse — and along the way, they unearth a family secret that was meant to be buried with their late mother, Carmela.

As the journey unfolds, they discover that the curse is tied to the mysterious circumstances of Eli’s birth, leading them to dig deeper into the past.
